JumpBox for LAPP Deployment
Ready to run Virtual Machine/Virtual Appliance for VMware, Parallels, VirtualBox and Amazon EC2 Cloud Computing
The JumpBox for LAPP Deployment is a great utility system that allows you to easily deploy applications where a tailored JumpBox may not exist. It contains PostgreSQL plus PHP, Perl, Ruby and Python along with phpPgAdmin to help you manage the database. Using the JumpBox for LAPP Deployment you can easily deploy many popular PHP applications as well as CGI based Perl, Ruby and Python applications.
It's also a great platform to develop on and gives you an easy to use Ubuntu Linux environment that will run on Windows, Mac OS X and any other version of Linux.
This JumpBox also has an interesting capability that if you install an application into it and then use our backup system to create a backup, you end up with a simple archive of the app that can be installed into another copy of the JumpBox by doing a simple restore. This seems simple, but it opens up some interesting uses that we'll explore more on the JumpBox Blog in the coming weeks.
What is a JumpBox?
A JumpBox makes using server software quick and simple. It packages an application's software, dependencies, and application data into a single virtual computer that enables you to focus on the application, not the details of getting the application to run.

Ramp Up Video
Ramp Up videos give you a quick tour of an application with the goal of showing you what it does and how you might put it to work.
