On Mac OS X there is currently no free solution available, although Parallels does offer a 15 day trial download. |

Virtual Box for Mac OSX
There is a free VM for Mac OSK called Virtual Box. Still in beta but pretty stable and I have had no probs with it. They have free Windows and Linux virtulisation systems too
