Enabling Anonymous Access

I want to enable anonymous access for my Mantis installation. Per the article on the Mantis Wiki (http://www.mantisbt.org/wiki/doku.php/mantisbt:enabling_anonymous_access) this is possible, but the last step requires me to edit the config_inc.php file.

Is this possible to do with the JumpBox? I'm not sure how to get to the command line in the JumpBox or find that file.

Is there any particular SSH

Is there any particular SSH Client that people like to use? (that's free)

Is there any particular SSH

For what operating system? Both Linux and Mac come with free SSH clients.

On Windows there is putty which has been around for years and has always been reliable:

Enabling Anonymous Access

Hi
Unfortunately, you would have to register the JumpBox to do this. We don't yet provide a way for unregistered users to do customization that the application itself doesn't provide through its web interface.

So, you would have to register your JumpBox, enable shell access, then use a SSH client to SSH into the JumpBox as the admin user and then edit the file /var/www/mantis/config_inc.php.

I haven't tried enabling anonymous access specifically but it appears to be a pretty standard feature so it should work on the JumpBox.

Good luck,
Austin
