My jumpbox sugarCRM, running on ESX server, keeps getting its date set to 2011, August, seemingly at random. Where it is getting this? the ESX date is correctly set. The Server date is correctly set. I can reset it vis SSH, and restart APache, and all is well...but how does this happen?
or..is there a way to set a CRON job to run to resync date to NTP? or a way to set a script to set date at power cycle?

Date keeps getting changed
Hi Steve,
That is really strange. Could you check and see if Time Synchronization between the guest and host is enabled? This is the first place to start and usually resolves VMWare users time problems. If not, a cronjob that runs ntpdate would work.
There should be no reason that the clock would change like this.
