How can I import my JumpBox to ESX server 3.01

My Jumpbox Redmine works very well with Virtual PC 2007. But I have some problem when I try to import it to my VMWare ESX Server 3.01.

when I type in the follow command:

#vmkfstools -i /home/redmine-0.6/disks/root/root.vmdk vmhba0:0:0:8:root.dsk

System response is:
#Destination disk format: VMFS thick
#Cloning disk '/home/redmine-0.6/disks/root/root.vmdk'...
#Failed to clone disk : File system isn't VMFS (35).

whats wrong?

This ought to work assuming you are using the correct destination. Is vmhba0:0:0:8:root.dsk correct for your setup?
