cannot access phpbb after installing on virtual pc

I have dowloaded jumpbox for phpbb twice and installed using MS virtual PC. Each time I start it up, it boots with no errors, but when I attempt to go configure via Internet Explorer, I get the standard Explorer timeout message. Any ideas?

Yeah, first off, does the IP address it gave you make sense? It shouldn't begin with 169. If it does you have a problem. Second thing you might try ... go directly to the admin interface by typing in the URL:

https://IPADDRESS:3000/

rather than:

http://IPADDRESS/
