Do these require registration?--
create more than one repository in my trac project
change the start page to point to the start of my wiki content instead of the trac documentation
The reason I ask is that I haven't been able to do either of these. Mainly, I can't figure out how to actually get into the jumpbox itself, as when it starts the only thing I seem able to do with it is some advanced configuration of the IP.
Thanks,
Brandon W.
p.s.--I've long shied away from most open-source projects due to the difficulty in working with them. I think that services like JumpBox could very well be the answer to help open-source gain significant market share (imho).
Do these functions require registration?
Trac does not handle multiple projects very gracefully and setting them up in the JumpBox would require SSH access (thus requires registration) and a fair amount of command line work.
It sounds like you have only been able to see the JumpBox Administration Portal and not gotten to the Trac application at all. On the navigation bar at the top, you should be able to click on the login link on the right half or the logo right next to it to get to the Trac application itself.
Actually, if you go back to the root URL of the JumpBox, shown as the "Application Page" URL on the JumpBox console ... something like http://IPADDRESS/ you should see Trac.
Once you get there, your second question should be resolved.

Actually, I've been able to
Actually, I've been able to navigate to Trac just fine through both the host OS and through internet. I had assumed that doing so through the jumpbox appliance itself was just not possible (because it's not possible to get into the underlying Ubuntu OS). It would seem that since SSH is required, my understanding is correct here.
I guess I just haven't found the document that tells me how to change where the Start Page points. I guess I could put the default one onto a new wiki page and then just overwrite the current one with my own wiki page.
Thanks for the reply.
Brandon
p.s. I am going to give Redmine a try as well.
Do these functions require registration?
I misunderstood you then.
Well, you can just edit the front page and put your own text there. If you want to save the old front page content you can just create an OldFrontPage page and paste the content there. Thats what I tend to do.
Redmine is designed to handle multiple projects. The application itself is still very much in flux and our JumpBox is still in Beta, but it is certainly usable. Proceed with caution.
