Admin account disabled!Submitted by jerrymayfield on Mon, 04/21/2008 - 10:00am.I installed the trial Jumpbox Joomla 1.5 three days ago and now I can not log in. When I use Alt right arrow in the VM console it tells me that this account has been disabled. When I to try log-in from the browser I get the "password" page again, not an invalid log-in message. Why am I locked out? Everything worked well all weekend. |

Console login is disabled by default until you enable shell/SSH access in the JumpBox Administration portal. So if you never enabled shell access, you would not have been able to log in on the console.
Which page are you trying to log into using the browser? A Joomla 1.5 page or the JumpBox Administration Portal on port 3000? On the Admin page, you should get a "login unsuccessful" message if you type the wrong password.

Hi Austin,
I answered my own question... I remembered that I was playing around with my preferences in "Safari Browser" last night and I told it to quit accepting "cookies"...duh! One must accept cookies in order to log-in, of course! You might want to check for "Cookies Enabled" and issue an error message for the other dummies like me in this world :-)
