SVN Integration?

I've downloaded the Mantis Jumpbox and got it running (the docs are pretty straightforward, using VMWare under Win32 fyi). I created the DNS entries for the host, the MX records for it, smart-relay addition to allow it to send emails, a few user accounts within Mantis itself to test with, along with a generic test project.

However, what I cannot find is the SVN Integration that the description page mentions: http://www.jumpbox.com/app/mantis

Specifically I was expecting that when you create a new project, it creates a new SVN structure/repo for each. If it is doing that, I've not found in the JumpBox::Admin or the JumpBox::Mantis::Admin where the instructions are for accessing each repo.

And I seemingly can't SSH into the JumpBox w/o registering it, to poke around and look for this. We've only today downloaded it and ran it to try and evaluate whether we'd use it (and then payup if so).

Thanks,
Shane

SVN Integration?

Hi Shane,

The SVN integration that is possible with Mantis is much looser than Trac or Redmine. I think the only thing you can do is add SVN hooks that comment on or close bugs in Mantis. This JumpBox does not include the SVN repository like the Trac and Redmine JumpBoxes do, although, now that you mention it, we will consider that for future releases.

We haven't actually done anything with the SVN integration so you would have to do it yourself. I don't have a step by step process that I can guarantee works on the JumpBox, but there are some sources of information that may apply:

Yeah, SSH is not enabled until after you have registered it.
