I wasn't aware of Funambol, but it looks like a really interesting app. Thanks for pointing it out, we'll definitely look at it more.

cakePHP on a jumpbox

Hi,

cakePHP gets even more attention in the past. It would be greta to have a jumpbox with a complete lampstack and a running version of cake in it. It must support tests (using simpletest) and commandline-access via cake shell out of the box.

It would be the perfect start for every cakePHP starter. And there are a lot of them...

We'll have something for this

We'll have a way to handle these things before too much longer. It likely won't be a full JumpBox, but there will be a way to do this that still provides most of the benefit.
