MySQL Jumpbox question

Is there any way I can use the MySQL jumpbox to access a database on another jumpbox?
What I pretend to do is to access the MySQL database on the Joomla jumpbox. I need to be able to develop Joomla sites but the application is useless unless I can import/export my databases. I can FTP the Joomla files and there is a mysql folder there but I cannot figure out where the database is.
I posted a similar question on the Joomla forum but since I had no answers yet I decided to post it under another subject.

Thanks for any help on this matter.

MySQL Jumpbox question

With a registered JumpBox you have access to everything on the virtual machine, its really just a matter of finding things.

This FAQ discusses configuring a JumpBox for accessing MySQL over the network:

And this one discusses installing PhpMyAdmin on the JumpBox:

But I see you have had problems with this, I will address that there once I get a chance.

I think you would probably want to use something like the MySQL GUI admin tool for whatever OS you run on your desktop.
