Perhaps "Restore Only" for future versions?
Thats a good point. It hadn't occurred to me. I will mention that to everyone else here.

Perhaps "Restore Only" for future versions?
Perhaps future versions will cripple backup on unregistered trials but will allow restores since being able to easily backup a Jumpbox is the real "value add." Besides a trial/tester wouldn't have a file to restore from if they didn't have a registered Jumpbox somewhere under their control to get the backup file from.
Thanks for all the quick replies! Still a great product!

I think the license explicitly permits this. If not, I am sure we intend it. Otherwise, how would you know your data migrates safely?

How do I enable the restore
How do I enable the restore functions on the unregistered 1.1 Jumpbox for this test?
Can I use the 1.0 registration key on the 1.1 box?
How do I enable the restore
The key has an expiration date, if its not past that date, you can still use it.

No the key has expired which brings me back to:

Ok, I am sorry, I misunderstood. We do not have a way for you to test a restore if you do not have a valid key for the JumpBox you are restoring to.
