Ever heard of Scalr? A php-opensource toolset for managing farms on Amazon EC2. It can be found on scalr.com as a service. You can downlad the source at google: http://code.google.com/p/scalr/.

It would be cool to have a jumpbox configured to run Scalr. Since it is not just plug-and-play it would help one get startet using the fantastic Amazon AWS infrastructure.
