LDAP authentication with SVN repositories

Hi there,

LDAP is working fine for Redmine in the website section for us, but it doesn't seem to use LDAP authentication for the subversion repositories. I was reading in the Jumpbox.net forums that this is a known issue for the Jumpbox setup of Redmine.

This appears to be something that could be possible with Redmine to use LDAP for both. Is there a hack or way to make this work for the current Jumpbox version of Redmine? This is basically the only thing for us that is preventing this from being 100% fantastic and useable.

If anyone has managed to get this working I would love to hear what modifications were needed. If there isn't an immediate fix, would this be something Jumpbox team would be looking into making work down the track?

There was a bug at one time that would have prevented any authenticated access to subversion. That is resolved now. So I think some of the past attempts that failed would now work. I have not had a chance to try this again however.

I think proceeding along the path Marc had started here could end up successful.
