Tempe, Arizona September 17, 2008 -- JumpBox, a developer of virtual appliances that simplify server software deployment, today launched "Powered by JumpBox," a service that helps Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) grow sales by removing the friction associated with deploying server software.

The Powered by JumpBox service transforms an ISV's application into a "JumpBox", a pre-built, pre-configured software application for virtual computing. A JumpBox application deploys in less than three minutes. The ease of deploying a JumpBox facilitates more hands-on trials of complex server software and motivates purchase. Blogging software provider Six Apart is the launch customer for the new service.
