Hello,
1) For Wordpress the registration price will be 29 dollars, the other applications will vary a bit in price.
2) The installation you have won't expire. However we will be turning off the beta keys once the beta is over. This means you won't be able to register any new installations using those keys, existing installs will continue to work fine.
3) As long as the JumpBox is registered your data is never trapped since you have full system access. The intention is for you to be able to easily move data forward using the backup tool. We still have some glitches to work out in the process, but it will be usable before we release a final version.
4) Not that we know of.
5) The messages from IE are really unfortunate. Because we wanted an encrypted session with our administration tools, we need to use SSL. Unfortunately because we don't know what IP address or name the JumpBox will have when deployed it's impossible to generate an SSL certificate that won't cause those warnings. This bothers me quite a bit, but there's really nothing we can do about it as long as we want encryption for the admin interface. It's just the way SSL was designed and IE has gotten more aggressive with its messages over time.

(1) Now that you've got us hooked on the Beta RC2 version what is the projected cost going to be???
(2) Is this RC2 version going to expire on me???
(3) Will I be able to upgrade this version and keep all the stuff I have added???
(4) I am using VMware-workstation-6.0.0-44426; is there any issues with these newer versions of vmware???
(5) IE7 gets upset because the certificate points to "jumpbox.local" instead of "https://192.168.1.90:3000/user/login". I can go forward so this does not matter and is the only other I have with your very helpful product.
Instant Upgrade suggestion
Going forward, could Instant Upgrade be included as a default plugin with HTTP method supplied and proper permissions set prior?
i.e.
http://www.zirona.com/software/wordpress-instant-upgrade
Also, inclusion of libcurl for PHP5 would be a nice thing to have by default.
Otherwise --- nice stuff!
Thanks,
Jay
