I would like to enter a Traditional Chinese text for the survey, but the data displayed on screen is ?????????????? instead of correct text.

Hi,
I finally able to make it work with the following command in MySQL:
********* BACKUP ALL DATA FIRST!!!! Suggest do this when no data ************
ALTER DATABASE limesurvey DEFAULT CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci;
Plus the changes on above /etc/mysql/my.cnf
Restart MySQL /etc/init.d/mysql restart
Remark: Just my testing, not sure if it is correct, Austin kindly correct me if I am not right. Thx.

Hello Felix,
Thank you for pointing this out. We will take a look at resolving this and get back to you. If the application itself supports Chinese characters we will likely be able to come up with a new build that supports this sometime next week.

I have tried different modification on my.cnf, dump/convert/restore to db (see captured below), but no luck, still not working. As I need to demostrate to customer about the use of survey system 1 day later, hope you could assist on hints OR have an update soon. Many many thanks, or I will lost biz.
