JumpBox with wordpress is setup with static IP info and 2 different DNS servers.

OK, I think I was able to figure this out. I bet you only put one DNS server when you configured a static IP. It seems we have a bug in that version that doesnt handle a missing second DNS server well.

I think a work around you might try is entering that same DNS IP address in both DNS slots. Then try entering your registeration key again.

The only thing that is required to be able to register once you have the key is clear outbound http access to port 80 and a working DNS server. The error implies there is something wrong with the DNS server that the jumpbox is trying to use. When you set the static IP did you give it a working DNS server? Make sure your DNS setting is correct and try again, if you haven't already.

Sorry about the catch 22. We are building in some diagnostic tools to aid in troubleshooting problems like this.

Yep, have a beta registration key, and have static IP.
Does it have to be an external box?
This a first time test on an internal machine behind a firewall. I have outbound web access (80 & 443) Do I need anything else?
One issue is that you have to register to get ssh, but to troubleshoot the registration I need ssh. Catch 22 :(

Do you know if your DHCP server provides DNS server information to clients? You can try setting a static IP and specify your DNS servers there.

Also, let me make sure I know exactly where you ran into this. You have already filled out the registration form and gotten the Beta Registration key in an email and are entering "JumpBox Beta" and the provided key into the form and then you get this error?
