Which page in the Joomla Admin console are you seeing this? Sounds like its trying to load remote content from somewhere. It could be that that source is down, the dns servers on the JumpBox are incorrect, the JumpBox is not connected to the internet (host only networking) or you need to connect through a proxy server or something.

Though, I don't recall a data feed of any sort.
