Jumpbox Updates

Hi, I note there have been a number of Jumpbox updates issued recently. I'm specifically interested in the Joomla15 v1.1.17 update. I'm currently running Joomla15 v1.1.15. Is it recommended that you update to the latest version? If so, how do you install the update while preserving current content?

The Joomla 1.5.17 release

The Joomla 1.5.17 release notes call this a security release.

Only you can decide if you should upgrade depending on your situation and environment. For example, if your Joomla is behind a firewall you trust and only accessible to internal employees you trust, that could be a factor in your upgrade decision.

As always, the only recommended way to upgrade JumpBoxes is via the backup/restore process.
