Hmmm, thats strange. This might be an issue with vTiger itself rather than the JumpBox. You might check their forums and see if anyone mentions anything strange like that.

Are all of the different clients accessing the JumpBox using its IP address? I mean, the macs aren't trying to contact vtiger.local, while the windows are accessing vtiger.

It really sounds like browser related ajax issues. What browser are you using? Try firefox on all platforms and do you have the same result?

I had tried again on connecting from the clients in OS X, OpenSuse, CentOS 5 & Windows . I noticed the linux clients able to see the linux clients only while windows clients can see all the users including windows and linux clients.

This arise the problem for linux clients not able to initialiaze a private chat with windows clients unless the windows clients started it.

Any recommended resolution for this issue for linux client? Could it be java or php problem?

I had tried out previous version and it was working. I don't know why it doesn't work for the current version that I am using now.

Will try to download again and reset all the network setting.

Previously tested on XP/OSX/Linux/Win2k without a hitch.

Hmm, I am not having this problem. I have tried from Win XP Firefox, Win XP IE6, and OS X Firefox.

Did you make any changes like rename your jumpbox or set its IP address manually?

I am using the latest RC2 released and I found that the ajax chat client is not working. I am testing by creating a few users and login on the LAN from different machine and Ajax chat application not able to see the users nor client list.

Anyone can help to resolve the issue?
