A JumpBox is an entire virtual machine and there aren't good turnkey hosting options yet. If you just want to install WordPress on dreamhost, you should ask DreamHost about it. Perhaps google "dreamhost wordpress" ... which seems to give me:
In order to use a JumpBox and have it available on the internet you would have to have a computer running parallels continuously connected to the internet. This makes a lot of sense for some people but it sounds like a little more trouble than necessary for what you want to accomplish. You might be best off just following the above instructions and considering JumpBox in the future or just using it for testing on your laptop.

I'm afraid I'm more confused than you...
Please, there is something I don't understand: I use Jumpbox through Parallels, but don't I need a "place" in Internet where to upload the contents I create with Wordpress?? I have a domain registrated with Dreamhost, and I thought I would have used that domain to upload those contents in.
That's why I thought, but I'm propably wrong.
Somebody please... :(
Ok, I am really confused here. Are you running a JumpBox in vmware or parallels on your own computer? Or are you using Dreamhost to host wordpress? We are in no way affiliated with Dreamhost and our product isn't, at this point, designed or intended to run on a third party hosting provider.

I want to upload new themes and new plugins I've downloaded, but I can't find the folder.
I've been looking in the admin panel in Jumbox, but nothing. I've tried to connect through ftp using the dreamhost panel, but the connection keeps dropping.
I succeded in connecting to my blog ftp using cyberduck, but no signs of that folder, I just find the most elementary ones.
Where is the problem?

Now things are clear, thank you very much.
I’m sorry I can’t use your software, it’s really good :(
I’ll think of you when I’ll buy a iMac!!

Seems like reasonable instructions.
