Yeah, its going to depend on how you have it set up. I would just make sure that the base URL reflects the hostname or IP address you use to access it when you make the configuration setting. You might also want to try cleaning out the cache directory manually:

sudo rm /var/data/punbb/cache/cache_*.php

I have gotten "BAD REFERER" when doing configuration type things and it had old base_url cached in that directory.

Hi,

My ISP only allocated 1 static IP to my ADSL account and i am already running a webserver.
I have managed to get PunBB functioning well on another port, using an extra proxy and nameserver.

External access from the WAN and users logging in/out is working.

The problem is when i would like to modify the "Censoring" page by adding a new blocked word, it gives me a "bad referrer" error and asks me to change the base URL.
When i proceed to do this it gives me the same error.
No matter what i use as the Base URL it doesn't seem to like it.

What is the correct URL to use in the "base URL" field.

Obviously, it will depend on my individual config, but any tips or guidelines would be appreciated.
