ldap module for php
Please make sure your /etc/apt/sources.list matches the following and try again:
What you pasted above says "Edgy" and JumpBoxes are made from Dapper.
We don't do anything to deliberately prevent installing additional software.

ldap module for php
Hi Austin,
Just tried the us apt mirrors with same result.
This is getting frustrating - I just need the one library for LDAP. Just can't seem to get it... :D
Here is the contents of my sources.list file:
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu edgy main restricted
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu edgy-updates main restricted
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu edgy-security main restricted
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu edgy universe multiverse
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu edgy-updates universe multiverse
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu edgy-security universe multiverse
I can browse the web from this box no problem at all. I can't see it myself but would the jumpbox folks "break" apt somehow so that the appliance dosen't get "misconfigured"?
ldap module for php
I would try again later and let us know if it still doesn't work. It looks like you are trying to use the Canadian archive repos. Sometimes a mirror is down or broken. Have you tried switching back to the non canadian repositories and using apt-get update?
Good luck,
Austin
ldap module for php
I need to install the php5-ldap module for ldap authentication with my Wordpress Jumpbox. However an apt-get update always fails so I can't install any packages.
Error msg is as follows:
Err http://security.ubuntu.com dapper-security Release.gpg
The HTTP server sent an invalid reply header [IP: 82.211.81.138 80]
Err http://ca.archive.ubuntu.com dapper Release.gpg

etc etc
Networking is configured fine and working except it seems via apt.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx!
