Star by setting your static IP again and verifying it works. Then youou will need to register if you have not done so, then enable shell access as outlined here: http://www.jumpbox.com/docs/enableshell
Then SSH in as admin and run the following command
sudo pkill dhclient
You will be prompted for a password. This is the admin users password.
This should take care of it as long as you don't switch back to DHCP. However, we are releasing a new WordPress JumpBox this week that includes this fix. You might try and backup from your existing JumpBox and restore to the newer version when it comes out. (Save your old one of course until you have verified the new one works to your satisfaction ).

It would be great if you could let me know how to fix this, it gets a bit tedious to go and assign a static, then assign the old static again. Thanks in advance for your help.
Hi tbyozan.
Thanks for your feedback. This was a bug. It is fixed and will be available in upcoming releases. I can tell you how to fix it yourself if you want to in your existing JumpBox. Or you can just grab the new one when it comes out.
It keeps happening, so I can get to 192.168.1.10:3000 (within firefox or IE) the jumpbox admin page, but when I go the "hostname" or just click the "Login" button from the jumpbox admin page, it trys to connect the original dhcp assigned address?
I can ping the static (obviously) as I can get to the admin page, the name is the hostname I assigned it, also it's the DNS name I gave it.
Where is the name you're using coming from? Is it just the hostname you gave to the JumpBox or are you configuring a name some other way? Also what OS are you using to connect?
The next time it happens you might try pinging the static IP you think the JumpBox has to see if it responds. If it does then the issue lies with the naming and we need some more information to figure out what's going on.
Also, if I change to a differant static ip, it works like normal again. I will leave it on it's current (new) static and see what it does over the next day.
After a day or two, my wordpress jumpbox seems to lose it's static ip. I go to a browser when I get in in the morning, type in the host name or dns name and it says "connecting to 192.168.1.107, which isn't the static I have assigned it, it's actually the address it got from DHCP when it first came online.
I go to admin - network and it says the correct info, I reconfigure and it still trys to go to the DHCP assigned address?
