Import problem

Import problem

Hi again Eric,
I am sad to say that I don't have an answer for you. I don't know why it would even be contacting a host unless its trying to grab content (like images) from your original site and it can't contact that host for some reason.

If you want to give me a copy of the import file I will try and load it and see if it works. Otherwise I can try their hosting service myself, but I won't get a chance to try that for a while.

Import problem

Hi Austin,

Thanks for the response!

Yes, this is an XML file from WordPress' free hosting service. I choose Manage->Export->Download Export File to get the XML file.

In the JumpBox, I choose Manage->Import->WordPress->Upload file and import. And get the error I mentioned.

Import problem

I can export an XML dump file from a Running JumpBox and import that WordPress XML file into a new JumpBox without issue. Are you generating an XML Dump from their hosting service? Or doing something else?

Import problem

Hi,

I wanted to transfer my WordPress settings from WordPress' free hosting service to the JumpBox I just created. I get the following when pressing the import button:

Error Code 64: Host not available
Background: The connection to the Web server was lost.

I tried this when connected directly to the JumpBox network (not through a firewall) so I know it's not a firewall issue.

Any ideas?

Thanks! :)

Eric
