NFS or SMB(Windows Shares)? What virtualization platform are you using? What OS is your network share running?

One limitation we currently have with SMB based backups is that the backup has to go to the root of a share. So if the share is /backup, you can't tell it to backup to /backup/jumpbox/trac. I recommend that you create a share specifically to back up this trac JumpBox.
