What's the difference between the registered and unregistered versions?

Registering a JumpBox adds the following capabilities:

  1. Protect your data with integrated backups. With registration you get the ability to schedule automated backups of your data to a local file share on your network.
  2. Get access to fully customize the application. You'll gain shell access to the underlying VM and have the ability to ssh into the JumpBox and change anything.
  3. Easily manage files in the JumpBox with SFTP enabled programs. Move files like plugins and themes into the JumpBox using sftp.
  4. Control visibility of the JumpBox navigation bar. You can choose to turn off the JumpBox navigation at the top of the screen.

I'm a software developer, can you create a JumpBox for my app?

We are always willing to look at commercial projects to see if it makes sense to build a JumpBox for them. Contact us to discuss the feasibility of your project.

What is a JumpBox?

A JumpBox is a virtual computer that bundles an entire server based application stack into a single unit that makes it much easier to use. The goal with a JumpBox is to save you as much time as possible by getting you up and running quickly and then giving you all the basic tools that are needed to keep you running going forward. You can learn much more from this page.
